School of Accelerated Educational Programs

The Faculty of “Accelerated Educational Programs” offers training in 20 undergraduate educational programs. Instruction is conducted in both Kazakh (state) and Russian languages based on technical and vocational as well as higher education backgrounds. Studies are available on a tuition-paid basis and through government educational grants.

The faculty includes four academic departments: Business, Law and International Relations, Foreign Languages, and Pedagogy and Psychology. The educational process is carried out by the faculty members of the departments at KAFU.

The training of specialists is conducted in accordance with the State Compulsory Standard of Higher and Postgraduate Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Classes are organized according to the credit-based learning system.

The faculty provides both in-person (on-campus) and distance learning formats in accordance with the “Requirements for Educational Institutions Providing Distance Learning and the Rules for Organizing the Educational Process in Distance and Online Formats for Higher and/or Postgraduate Educational Programs” (Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 137 dated March 20, 2015. Registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan on April 22, 2015, No. 10768). Distance learning is supported through the “Moodle” platform, which is available on the KAFU website.

The content and structure of the faculty’s activities are focused on the personal, creative, and professional development of students. Students not only acquire fundamental and professional knowledge but also develop skills for self-growth and collaboration with others. A climate of respect and mutual trust is a key principle in the education of our students. The university’s faculty members take into account the specific nature of the student body — these are mature individuals with substantial professional and practical experience.

Graduates of the faculty who successfully complete their undergraduate professional educational programs and demonstrate an aptitude for academic work are given the opportunity to continue their studies at the master’s level.

The academic process is organized by the Dean’s Office, which includes Dean Shefer Nadezhda Mikhailovna, Faculty Methodologist Sharipova Altynkiz Bimukhambetovna, and Registrar Office Representative Sadibekova Meruert Abilkhasimovna.
